The physiotherapist

Mrs Katharine Hayens

We currently have three sessions of physiotherapy each week in the Practice.

Our Physiotherapist, Mrs Katherine Hayens, treats a variety of muscle and joint problems and will give people advice how to prevent recurring problems too.

Most of the treatments can be carried out in the surgery but fore some conditions it is better for people to attend the physio department at the hospital.

In exceptional circumstances it may be possible for one of the Community Physiotherapists to visit people in their homes.

Referral to the Physiotherapist is usually by one of the doctors.
